This is an illustration of my Dad, I used illustrator to draw in his clothing and the polygonal lasso tool in photoshop to select the areas where I wanted to apply the colours. For shadows I used the multiply option.

With his tash and shades he reminds me of someone from the TV show "Life on Mars" :)

ink brushes

The figure is a template that I was given. I played around with different brushes in photoshop, focusing mainly on the inky one :) after I was happy with the shape, I used black lines to give it some definition.
